The star of the 2024 elections is the presidential election, where former President Donald Trump, a Republican, and Vice President Kamala Harris, a Democrat, are facing off in a very close race. Incumbent Democratic President Joe Biden was originally his party’s nominee, but following a poor debate performance and pressure from party leaders, he dropped out and endorsed Harris on July 21, 2024.
